A Welcome From Our President
Welcome, on behalf of the Eta Delta Chapter of Phi Chi Theta at Vanderbilt University. Since our founding in 2023, our chapter has grown into a community built on ambition, integrity, and genuine connection. What sets us apart is a shared interest in business and leadership, paired with the depth of our relationships and the high bar we hold one another to.
I joined Phi Chi Theta in the Spring of '25, and it has shaped both my professional growth and my personal life in ways I did not anticipate. Since then, I've had the privilege of carrying on various leadership positions within the chapter, each pushing me to raise my standards, think more critically, and pursue opportunities with greater confidence. Along the way, I've met some of my closest friends, the people who give me support when I need it most and share in my ambition. Watching our brothers pursue and achieve meaningful work across consulting, finance, technology, entrepreneurship, and beyond has been one of the most inspiring parts of my Vanderbilt experience. Their drive and impact reflect the caliber of our community.
I truly believe Phi Chi Theta is the most exceptional business organization on campus, built on the most robust new member education of any club here. If your goal is to achieve the best professional outcome while making some of your best friends and connections at Vanderbilt, then this is the place for you. We remain committed to fostering a cohesive and diverse organization that challenges each member to grow while supporting one another at every stage. It is an honor to lead a chapter that keeps developing future leaders, deepening lifelong friendships, and shaping Vanderbilt's campus for years to come.

History
Phi Chi Theta, a co-educational professional fraternity in business and economics, was founded by six women in Chicago, Illinois on June 16, 1924.
Since its founding, Phi Chi Theta has expanded its reach to over 40 Collegiate and Alumni Chapters across the U.S., becoming one of the world's largest business fraternities. The society is a member of and affiliated with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Professional Fraternity Association (PFA), and the Professional Fraternity Executive Association (PFEA).
Ultimately, Phi Chi Theta was created with a purpose to "promote the cause of higher business education and training for all individuals, to foster high ideals for everyone pursuing a career in business, to encourage fraternity and cooperation among people preparing for such careers, and to stimulate the spirit of sacrifice and unselfish devotion to the attainment of such ends."
COMMUNITY, HONOR, KNOWLEDGE
Our chapter of Phi Chi Theta was chartered at Vanderbilt in 2023 and works to provide opportunity for its diverse members to refine their abilities and leadership skills necessary to succeed in the business community. With a local and national network to share ideas and resources, members are able to pursue their fields with strong support.
Fifty students from all different backgrounds and study concentrations were part of the founding class of Phi Chi Theta.
